Pastor Ayo Omopariola serves as the Planting and Lead Pastor of The West Church, where he is responsible for preaching, casting vision, and providing overall spiritual leadership for the congregation.

He is passionate about seeing the Alief community transformed with the love of God by making disciples for Jesus Christ.

Pastor Ayo is joyfully married to his beautiful wife, Amaechi, and together they are raising their four wonderful children—Ezra, Simeon, Eden, and Isaiah. He is deeply devoted to his family and considers them one of God’s greatest gifts and callings in his life.

With extensive ministry experience, Pastor Ayo has served in a variety of pastoral and leadership roles within the local church. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a Master’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Houston, as well as a Master’s degree in Church Planting from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
